Using this site and agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any insulation work you book with K&L Yuma Insulation Company. When you browse the site, call us, send the form or accept an estimate, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
We wrote them in plain language so you know what to expect before our crew ever climbs into your attic. If something here is unclear, you can reach us through our contact page and we'll explain it.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Yuma, AZ, and we work on homes and commercial buildings in Yuma and the cities around it. Our work includes attic, wall and crawl space insulation, blown-in and spray foam insulation, air sealing, vapor barriers and removal of old insulation. You can read more about who we are on our about page or start from the home page.
What's on this site is general information about our services. It isn't a promise about your house, because we won't know what your attic, walls or crawl space need until we've looked at them.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, with no obligation to hire us. Your estimate lists the work we plan to do and its price, and it's based on what we can see and reach during the visit.
Prices can change if we find conditions that weren't visible during the estimate, such as wet or contaminated insulation, damaged framing, pests or blocked access. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree with you on any change in scope and price before we keep going.
An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update it for current material and labor costs.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll agree on a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material supply and conditions on earlier jobs can move a date, and if ours has to move we'll tell you as soon as we know.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas, including the attic hatch, garage, crawl space and any utility areas, and to keep children and pets clear while we work. Some products, spray foam in particular, require you to stay out of the house for a set time after we finish, and we'll tell you the re-entry time from the maker's instructions before the job so you can plan.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (928) 248-2654 as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered special materials or arrived on site, you may owe for those materials and that time, as written in your estimate or agreement.
Payment
Your estimate or agreement states the price, any deposit and when payment is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled. You're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance where Arizona law allows it.
Our guarantee and warranty limits
We're fully licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with work we did, call us and we'll come back and look at it.
Any written warranty we give you is limited to what your estimate or agreement says. Insulation products, spray foam and vapor barriers carry the maker's own warranty, and that warranty is between you and the maker.
Apart from what's written in your agreement, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We can't promise a specific drop in your power bill or a specific indoor temperature, because those depend on your HVAC system, ductwork, windows, how you run the house and the weather.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from roof or plumbing leaks, pests, later work by other trades, or changes made to the area after we leave.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Arizona law allows, our total liability for any claim tied to our work is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of the home, lost income or hotel costs, beyond what the law requires.
We aren't responsible for problems that were already in the house before we started and weren't part of our scope, such as existing wiring, mold, structural damage or hidden leaks. If we spot one during the job, we'll point it out to you.
Using the website
The text, photos and design on this site belong to K&L Yuma Insulation Company. You can read and share pages for personal use, but please don't copy them for commercial use without our written permission.
We try to keep the site accurate and current, but it's provided as it is. Links to outside sites are there for your convenience, and we don't control their content.
Resolving a disagreement
If you're unhappy with our work or a bill, please call us first. Most problems get fixed fastest when we can come out and look at them together.
If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try good-faith negotiation or mediation before going to court. Any claim that still isn't resolved will be heard in the courts of Yuma County, Arizona.
Arizona law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If a court finds part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies to new visits and new estimates. Work already under a signed agreement follows the terms in that agreement.
Questions about these terms are welcome. Call us at (928) 248-2654 or send a message through our contact page, and we respond within 1 business day.
